Satisfy your need for speed at the Porsche Experience Center Tokyo
There are some experiences that can't be recreated virtually. You may have watched it on Youtube, or on television, but none of that can prepare you for the reality. As part of your visit to Japan, leave the smartphone at home and get ready to spend some time with a different kind of machine…
There's a reason sports cars are highly prized, and it's not just because they're expensive. It's because settling in an ergonomic racing seat, starting the ignition and feeling the throaty purr of a powerful engine is a ritual of sensory stimulation like no other. Just wait until you hit the gas! Whether you're new to driving cars that represent the cutting edges of engineering, or you have an underground garage to rival Jay Leno and want to try some new machines, Porsche's newest Experience Center in Tokyo will give you some quality time to put a selection of the world's most iconic cars through their paces at speeds that would get you arrested if you tried it at home.

You can spend a day with the car of your choice, or do a comparative test drive of two vehicles to understand what sets a luxury sports car apart from machines built for cornering and racing, mid and rear engines, rear and all-wheel drive, and on and off-road capabilities.
The track
Even if you're a seasoned supercar driver, the 2.1km track at PEC Tokyo really sets this experience apart. Combining low friction and off-road surfaces, it recreates a series of famous corners from around the globe, including the Carousel at Nürburgring in Germany and the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca in the United States. The course follows the area's natural topography to give you a three-dimensional driving experience complete with 40 degree banks and spectacular gradient changes, and giving the course a distinctive regional feel. Learn all about safe driving, speed control, and ideal lines to attain optimum times.
In addition to the main track, you can experience six individual driver training modules, including slalom driving, full braking, launch control, a wetting system and a kick plate to practice controlling the car through spins.
The options
Drivers can spend their time with the Porsche of their choice to hone their driving expertise, receive one-to-one instruction from a personal driving coach, and enjoy the ups, downs and angled corners of a premium track. For those who don't hold a driving license but still want the experience, you can book in for a demonstration lap and let an experienced instructor show you what a Porsche can do.
Lunch by the sea
For lunch, we'll take you to the tranquil seaside city of Kisarazu, where you can enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at a traditional seafood grill restaurant, right beside the sea. You can take in the views across Tokyo Bay, and the spectacular Aqua Line, a combined bridge and underwater tunnel which connects Kisarazu to the city of Kawasaki, and dives beneath the water through an artificial island.
